Between the company Managing Director, Harry Blake and Accounts & Finance Director, Theo Zamba are a combined 25 years of recruitment experience. Whilst working together, and on separate previous ventures, Harry and Theo have developed a very trusting client base and a strong reputation for consistently supplying a high calibre of staff… no matter how crazy client demands may be!

Harry is a young entrepreneur who has always possessed innovative ideas and drive to succeed. It could have a been very different career path however… upon leaving school Harry joined an accountancy practice on an apprenticeship scheme, achieving his level 2 and 3 AAT certificates before deciding that it wasn’t the career for him. This being said, Harry is extremely grateful for the knowledge and experience provided during this 2 year period as it has enabled him to understand the fundamentals of running a business. In 2015, Harry accepted his first position in recruitment as a resourcer before progressing to consultant, branch manager and now managing director of We Staff. Harry has substantial experience in running all aspects of a recruitment company, from compliance, payroll, resourcing, account managing, business development and management. Harry has boundless plans for We Staff, and with his knowledge and the dedication from our team, we’re all very excited for the future!

Theo is an AAT qualified accounting technician who has over twenty years’ experience in accounts and recruitment… It was whilst studying for his AAT that Theo secured his first role in accounts & finance. Upon completion of his AAT qualification in 2008, Theo began his career and set up his first venture within recruitment, which has since lead him to directorship at We Staff.  In summary, we think it’s fair to say Theo has demonstrated true entrepreneurial skills and We Staff are incredibly fortunate to have him overseeing the company’s finances… even if he does say so himself!

Franco

Franco, the salesperson We Staff were crying out for and after many, many months of headhunting from our MD Harry, We Staff finally got their man.  Although Franco will tell you he is a very unique character, we see this as very warming, gentle, and just a really kind person, which in turn has rewarded him in his career. However, it hasn’t always been selling ice to an eskimo for Franco, he has many years’ experience as a finance professional, completing his AAT and being involved in international affairs.  It was in 2015 when Franco found his niche in recruitment and hasn’t looked back since! From on-site recruitment, sales, to branch managing, Franco has always been of a senior stature in recruitment which has lead him to We Staff as our sales director which we hope is his final move! We have big plans together with Franco to reach heights that were only a dream a couple of years ago.  Franco’s guilty pleasures when he has time away from his family is fishing, skiing and generally bettering himself consistently. Sydney is the most recent addition to We Staff, joining us in March 2023 to be a part of the Sales Team. Although her recruitment experience is limited at present, she does have a wealth of previous experience in account management, sales, finance and more recently credit control; which we can see has made her adept at communicating and problem solving, whilst giving her the altruistic nature needed to not only transition to, but excel at We Staff, continuing to ensure our candidates find the right role. What she may lack in direct recruitment experience, she certainly makes up for with her determination to learn and perform to a high level. Work aside, Sydney loves spending time with her friends and family. She enjoys going for a swim or relaxing at the spa, occasionally hitting the gym.

Oliver started his career in recruitment back in early 2017 as a resourcer. However, it didn’t take long for his employers to realise that Oliver was a natural and demonstrated a strong understanding of the recruitment world before his seat was even warm. Oliver had gone from a resourcer, a trainee consultant, a recruitment consultant and then to a senior consultant all within 9 months, (which is pretty impressive) and gaining valuable experience along the way. Over the years, Oliver has experienced all aspects of the construction industry and has successfully assisted high-profile clients with some of the biggest construction sites across the UK. Oliver dwelled on the opportunity to join We Staff, and thankfully for the team decided to take the leap join us after a strong 4 years with his previous employer. Oliver is most excited by the young, energetic team at We Staff alongside an uncapped earning potential.

Owen started his career in recruitment in 2019, progressing from trainee resourcer, assistant consultant and then to principal consultant all within 2 years. During this time, Owen has made significant progress in the Construction Industry and now has the opportunity to expand with no limits at We Staff. Learning an industry from the bottom upwards is always a great way to gain experience, which is exactly what Owen has done and he now understands all aspects of the desk and what is required. Owen chose to join the team at We Staff (a decision we are thrilled with) based on the opportunities presented to him which will allow Owen to not only fast track his experience, earning potential and quality of work life, but also to be a part of a young, exciting recruitment company with a bright future ahead.

Mickey started his career at We Staff in early 2022 after a successful and insightful 5 year journey with Lloyds Banking Group. Mickey has learnt invaluable work skills throughout his time in the ‘corporate world’ and this is why his customer service, organisation, problem solving, sales and marketing skills are second to none. Working with Lloyds has moulded Mickey into the hungry, driven, hard-working person he is today and the transferrable skillset he has learnt is already benefiting the Construction Team at We Staff. Mickey started as a Trainee Consultant but within a company record 2 months, Mickey received a promotion and is now an integral part of the team and partners with Owen in our Construction division. Mickey has expressed that he is extremely grateful to have the opportunity to join such a young, close knit, success driven team as it completely mirrors his character. We Staff are equally humbled that Mickey chose to leave a corporate company to join our mission at We Staff.

Alex, with collective experience in both sales and recruitment is somebody We Staff are thrilled to have join us as of March 2023 where he becomes the newest addition to the Industrial and Logistics desk. Along with his desirable and transferrable sales and recruitment experience, Alex’s confidence, customer service and optimistic yet positive approach to everyday life is second nature. Another string to Alex’s ever-growing bow is that he also has 2 years’ experience working within the construction and industrial sector on site and this has allowed Alex to experience the importance of our responsibilities as a recruitment company! After many successful years in this field, Charlotte felt it was time for a change and eventually found her niche in Education Recruitment where she had most recently worked with a company for 2 years. However, when the opportunity arose to join We Staff, where the sky has no limit and she has the ability to be in complete control of her fate, Charlotte jumped at the chance and we are so grateful that we backed her. Tom, another recruitment professional who has chosen to back his ability, experience and follow his passion for recruitment by starting a Medical (Division) desk from scratch for We Staff and our ever-growing brand. Tom has over 13 years of experience in the recruitment sector and 7 years continuously & most recently within Medical. Having started his career in banking, Tom always knew working in the public sector and using his interpersonal skills was what he wanted to do. Pairing this banking experience and then moving into the automotive industry selling cars (initially for Fords), Tom developed a love for sales also… This is where Tom sat back, and reflected on what would be his perfect industry and when combining the sales desire he possesses along with his strong customer service skills and chose to start his journey in the world of recruitment where he now hopes to make his last move this one to We Staff Medical.
